Put the Kettle on and plan your Paws for Tea Party
Organising and hosing tea party is great fun and couldn’t be easier to do and we have got loads of ideas and resources to help you make your tea party a success.
Plan your day, choose a date (it doesn’t have to be on 15 May) and find a venue. It could be anywhere from your home or garden, at a school, work place or even the local village hall, community centre or social club.
Are you going to bake your own treat or stock up from the supermarket? Do you have a friend or relative who could help you with some baking? Don’t stop at the tea, cake and natter!, think of other things you could do at your party. Why not include a small raffle or use our competition form to make a little extra.
However big or small your Tea Party is every penny raised will be giving pets a happy, healthy future.
Why hold a Blue Cross Tea Party?
Did you know that more than 100,000 stray dogs are picked up by local authorities each year and thousands are put to sleep because no homes can be found for them?
Last year Blue Cross took in more than 8,000 homeless pets and looked after 30,000 poorly animals. But more pets are being needlessly killed, badly kept and abandoned. We’ve seen 40 per cent more stray and abandoned animals compared to two years ago. We need your support now so that we can help as many pets in need as possible.
