About Me

Miss Tibbs has been at the centre for quite some time now and although she manages well, she really needs a home which benefits from a much richer and fulfilled life.

The longer she is here the more we struggle to realise why. Initially she appeared to be a cat who struggled to accept the affection we have to offer. Like other cats, she is very sociable, but when she first came to us her tolerance levels for physical affection from us were very low.

As she has now developed relationships with staff, this has improved a great deal. She has become more playful and more accepting of our attention. She loves to play with her wand toy with people and some amusing moments follow. She will benefit from regular play with people, not only to help build a loving bond, but also to help shift some of the weight she has gained from restricted space.

She would love a home in a more rural area where she can enjoy the fulfilment of the great outdoors and get up to a manner of feline activity.
If you live in a rural setting or benefit from village life, please consider offering this delightful cat the chance of a new and settled life.

Please, please contact the centre to learn more about her, she really does have a fabulous character all of her own.

Adopting

Adopting an animal can be a really great and rewarding way of finding your new pet. Our animals have a lot to give to a new owner and they all deserve a warm and loving home. All the animals that come to The Blue Cross are given a full MOT before they are put up for adoption. They are:

  • vaccinated, microchipped wormed and neutered
  • examined by a vet and treated as required
  • assessed by an experienced member of our team to determine what type of training and education they need
  • given an individual training plan depending on their needs
  • given an individual profile to help match them with their new owner
