Horse Care Groom (maternity cover)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated groom with previous experience of caring for a variety of horses and ponies both stabled and field kept. With BHS stage 3 care or equivalent experience Duties will include feeding, grooming, yard duties, health checks and handling the horses and ponies at the centre. With an awareness of health and safety issues, you will also help with veterinary and farrier visits. You will also work with customers coming to the centre, assist with centre promotional events, and will have the ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team.
