We are looking for a well-organised, highly motivated and enthusiastic person to assist Blue Cross Charity Shops in increasing their profitability through planning and carrying out house-to-house bag drop deliveries and collections. Additionally, the post holder will carry out the collection and transfer between shops of stock items and be responsible for the testing of electrical donations and basic shop maintenance work.
You will need to hold a current full driving licence and be willing to drive extensively. The position is based in Hartlebury and the region to be covered is Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. You will need to have proven skills and experience in carrying out basic maintenance tasks and have the aptitude and ability to become competent in PAT testing (full training will be provided). You will possess good communication skills and be able to represent, promote and raise the profile of Blue Cross to donors of stock
Physically fit and able to safely lift and load large volumes of stock, you will have the ability to work independently on your own initiative and be able to effectively plan your workload to meet agreed targets and deadlines.
