Blue Cross opens two new shops
11 Jun 2012Blue Cross is delighted to announce that we’ve opened two new charity shops to help us raise money for sick and unwanted pets.
We now have shops in Henley and Ludlow, taking the total number across the UK to 28. They raise valuable money to help us care for vulnerable dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and other small animals.

Shop donations needed
We always need donations of good quality stock to sell, like clothes, household goods, toys or books.
You can either drop it in at your nearest shop or contact your local veterinary practice to see if they’re involved in the National Veterinary Services (NVS) collection scheme.
If so, you can drop your donations off at the practice and they’ll be picked up by an NVS driver and brought to Blue Cross.
Want to volunteer at a Blue Cross charity shop?
If you’d like to volunteer at one of our charity shops we’d love to hear from you.
We need volunteers to help out on the shop floor, doing things like sorting and displaying stock, dressing the window and operating the till.
Visit our volunteering opportunities page to find out more.
