Fun-loving Blue Cross dog Sally desperately wants a home
19 Jul 2012
A dog who has been in kennels for a quarter of her young life is desperately waiting for a home at the Blue Cross rehoming centre in Hertfordshire.
We don’t know much about Patterdale terrier crossbreed Sally’s past as she arrived at Blue Cross as a stray when she was only nine months old.
Since then she has won the hearts of the centre staff with her playful and inquisitive nature and they are desperate to find her a new home.
Sally is a confident dog who likes to experience new things and be out in the countryside.
We think she could flourish with obedience training as she is keen to learn and works well for food rewards and toys.
Lynda Campbell, Blue Cross centre manager, says: “Sally is a very bright and friendly girl and we simply can’t understand why a terrier lover hasn’t snapped her up months ago.
“She is a real favourite with all the team but we would much rather see her settled in a new home.”
