Blue Cross cat Jamal is looking for a handsome home

03 Aug 2012

A stray cat named Jamal because of his gorgeous looks is hoping he can charm you into giving him a happy home.

Jamal means “handsome” in Arabic and this one-year-old moggy is certainly living up to his name.

He was found hanging around a local neighbourhood by a member of our staff who’d just moved to the area.

After asking all her neighbours about him, it became clear that he didn’t have a home of his own so he was brought to our Lewknor rehoming centre.

Blue Cross animal welfare assistant, Jess Hollis, says: “Jamal is a gorgeous boy with a lovely temperament.

“He loves being with people, loves life outside and would enjoy living in a rural area where he can explore but have a nice warm, loving home to go to.”

Blue Cross has already taken in 1,152 stray and abandoned pets like Jamal so far this year.
