Blue Cross kittens are looking forward to a happy future
03 Aug 2012
Five kittens who were saved from being born on the streets are all looking forward to happy, healthy futures.
Kiwi, Joey, Storm, Chilli and Cookie were born at one of our foster carer’s homes after their stray, pregnant mum Bobbie was picked up in the nick of time.
She was brought to Blue Cross and, as we wanted to make sure she got all the care and attention that a pregnant mum needed, we made use of our foster care scheme.
Bobbie was taken to Blue Cross foster carer Lesley Davis’s home and she looked after her and the five kittens when they arrived.
Four of the kittens are almost identical so the fifth, Kiwi, stands out as you can see in this photo.
Four kittens have now been rehomed and are settling in well but one, Joey, is still looking, as is their mum Bobbie.
Blue Cross has already taken in 1,152 stray and abandoned pets so far this year.
If you’d like to give Joey or Bobbie a home please contact our Northiam rehoming centre.
