Blue Cross searches for someone to love an ugly-mog
22 Aug 2012
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and to the Blue Cross team in Cambridge, cats Kaiser and Tiger are purr-fect.
But we fear they are being overlooked due to their unusual looks and we need animal lovers to come forward and give them the loving home they so desperately deserve.
Tabby and white Tiger and black and white Kaiser were given to our Cambridge rehoming centre because their owner was no longer able to care for them.
Not much is known about their past or how Tiger lost an eye and Kaiser lost part of his upper lip and nose, but neither cat is troubled by their imperfections and would make loving pets.
Alan Maskell, centre manager at Blue Cross, says: “These two are not going to win any feline beauty contests but looks are only skin deep and Kaiser and Tiger are sweet, affectionate cats.
“It’s terribly sad that they are only here because their owner couldn’t keep them and are now searching for a new home to settle down.”
Kaiser and Tiger are looking for a home where they can stay together. They could live with children and have also been used to living with dogs.
