Pussies Galore at Cambridge Blue Cross rehoming centre

20 Sep 2012

007 has taken various forms over the past 50 years, but never has the nation’s favourite secret agent looked so purr-fect.

Kittens Sean (right), Roger, Pierce, Daniel and Honor are nine-week-old tabbies who were only 10 days old when they were given up to the Blue Cross rehoming centre in Cambridge with their mum after their previous owner felt they already had too many cats.

The staff at our centre have named the kittens after stars of the Bond films because the Cambridge centre is currently overwhelmed by pussies galore.

It's 0073, not 007!

Cambridge centre manager Alan Maskell said, “It’s a really busy time and the centre is bursting at the seams. We are currently caring for 73 cats with over 150 on our waiting list.

“Rehoming a cat from Blue Cross can be a rewarding way of finding a new pet and all of them are given a full MOT before they are put up for adoption. All our cats deserve the star treatment, so please visit us to meet a few.”
