Pets and people

This resource is designed to teach upper primary children about responsible pet ownership. Through supporting key programmes of study in Maths, Science and English for 7-11 year olds in the UK, it provides practical advice on the care of pets.

Owning a pet is one of the most rewarding things you can do, and the resource also promotes the benefits of companion animal ownership - helping both pets and people.

The resource consists of two whiteboard-friendly, multimedia presentations with accompanying Teachers’ Notes and worksheets.
