Nasty fall leaves stray cat Dana needing some TLC at Blue Cross

Cat Dana at Lewknor rehoming centre

Cat Dana may have lost one of her nine lives after falling off the snowy roof of a railway station but the best was yet to come – a happy, healthy one in a loving home.

Poor Dana was in shock when she was discovered at the station but luckily she wasn’t injured. She was later brought to the Blue Cross Lewknor rehoming centre so we could find her a new home.

Jess Hollis, Blue Cross animal welfare assistant, says: “Dana is a very affectionate and loving girl who would spend all day having fuss and cuddles if she could.

“She was a very lucky girl to be found and has been given a second chance.”

It didn’t take long for this affectionate cat to find a home and she has now left the centre to start her new life.

Dana is one of the thousands of unwanted and abandoned cats we care for every year. If you’d like to help us to care for more cats in need like her, please make a donation.
