Education is essential to reduce the number of unwanted horses that currently face uncertain futures. An essential part of the equine welfare service is providing practical support to owners to help resolve difficulties, without the need to bring animals into care. The Blue Cross makes representations to government on major welfare issues such as horse passports and animal legislation, and also offers effective advice and support on equine matters. Do you want to learn more about how The Blue Cross helps horses and ponies? We offer free Blue Cross horse talks, which are a great way to learn about horses. If you are interested in this service, get in contact with us so we can see if we can arrange a visit to come and talk to your Pony Club, riding school, youth group or club.
