Returning your Blue Cross pet If you adopted a companion animal such as a dog or cat from The Blue Cross and can no longer care for it, we can help. We ask you not to rehome your pet yourself but to return it to the centre you adopted from. We will care for it while we look for a suitable new owner. Please book an appointment with the centre to hand your animal back. Donating your own animals If you already have your own pet but are unable to look after it anymore, we will take it into our care, provided that: - you live within reach of one of our centres
- we have enough space for new animals (our centres all operate waiting lists and prioritise urgent cases)
- the animal in question is suitable for us to take in
