Run 10k and help needy animals! This wonderful 10k event in the heart of London is just right for those who have just started running, or even for the most established runner. Taking place on Monday 30st May 2011, the BUPA London 10,000 (organised by the Virgin London Marathon team) starts and finishes in St Jamess Park. The course takes in many of Londons famous landmarks including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye, Cleopatras Needle, Tate Gallery, Buckingham Palace and many more en route. Not only does this course take in so many famous sites but you will also be running around the proposed route for the 2012 Olympic Marathons, now there is one to boast to your friends! How do I get a place? The Blue Cross only have a small number of guaranteed places in this event and by raising £200 in sponsorship a place on our team could be yours.
