Sahara Desert Trek

Dates: 29 February to 9 March 2008 or 31 October to 9 November 2008

Sahara Trek March and October 2008

We are seeking our intrepid supporters to take part in one of our ultimate treks to the Sahara Desert. 

The Sahara Desert stretches 4,800km from east to west. Its landscape varies from a stony flat expanse to perfect wind-blown sand dunes, broken only by the occasional oasis. The feeling of space and utter remoteness is awesome. With proud Berbers as our guides and a small caravan of camels to carry our supplies, we trek 100km through this varied and stunning landscape. Drawing on all your resources you will be trekking up to seven hours a day, often in intense heat and dealing with the cold at night.
