Don't own a pony but want to learn how to care for one?

If it’s not the right time for you to own a pony, then why don’t you put your energy into learning more about how to care for a pony? That way, if the right time to own a pony does come along, you’ll be well prepared! There are many ways that you can start to learn about the day-to-day caring of a horse or pony. Riding is not the only thing that you need to know, caring for a horse properly means you have to think about a lot of things.

What can you do to learn how to care for a pony?

Attend one of the pony care days that are run through The Blue Cross. These days teach you a lot about caring for a pony. To see when The Blue Cross is holding the next pony care day, contact your nearest centre.
