Cares for: dogs and cats Opened in 1986, this is one of our larger centres and serves communities across the West Midlands. Its prime function is the intake, rehabilitation and re-integration of both cats and dogs into the community. The centre operates from a former commercial boarding kennels, and facilities have gradually been upgraded from the existing older buildings. The latest addition is a modern kennel block with space for 40 dogs offering first class accommodation. The original purchase of the site was largely due to a generous bequest from a local benefactor who recognised the need for an animal welfare presence in the area.
