Burford adoption centre

Cares for: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and small pets.

Opened in 1990, this centre serves the counties of Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, and Northamptonshire. The land was bought as a working farm with the farmhouse and a small kennels, which became the animal centre.

We currently have facilities for dogs, cats and kittens, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals such as rats, hamsters, chinchillas, degus and gerbils.

Opening hours
11.00am-4.00pm, Mon-Wed and Fri-Sun. Closed on Thursdays. Open on Bank Holidays*

* with the exception of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day

Visitors are welcome to walk around the cattery and small animal section however we operate restricted viewing in the kennels to minimize stress on the dogs.

We're holdiing our Funday and Dog show on  August 16!
This is the Burford centre's biggest event of the year. Bring the family and all your doggie friends for a great day out at the adoption centre. Plenty of fun and games for human and canine friends, homemade cakes and refreshments, arts and crafts and a display of current doggie residents.
