Burford equine welfare centre
The Burford equine centre was opened in 1991 and shares a site with Burford small animal adoption centre and Blue Cross head office. The horse ambulance welfare service is also run from the Burford site. The site now has 110 acres and a capacity for 65 horses and ponies. Facilities include two all weather arenas, a round pen and an American barn style stable block that includes a crew barn and an intensive care stable.
