For Key Stage One level, you can choose to use the worksheets and posters, or to take part in the Animals and Us programme.

The worksheets and posters below are in pdf format. Print them out and use them after a class discussion on pet care and are particularly good to use after a talk by a Blue Cross speaker.

The Blue Cross Animals and Us programme is curriculum-linked to Key Stage One Citizenship. The programme begins and finishes with a visit from a Blue Cross speaker, and every child receives a certificate on completion.
