Last year £469 048 came to the charity through raffle ticket sales and additional related donations and we are very grateful because so many more needy animals at our centres and hospitals can be helped as a result.

We call our raffle The Blue Cross Paw Draw. Each book contains 12 tickets at £1. As well as being a source of vital funds for Blue Cross animals, each raffle will give our supporters the chance to win a brand new car or £7,000 cash (plus other great prizes too).

Christmas 2009 Paw Draw

The winners of The Blue Cross Christmas Paw Draw raffle for 2009 have been drawn.

The Blue Cross's head of trading, Jonathan Chambers, commented: "We are delighted to announce the results of our Christmas Paw Draw for 2009 and would like to thank those who dug deep to take part. Your contributions are vital to the ongoing work of The Blue Cross in helping needy animals across Britain."

In addition to the winners below, Miss T Cowell from Essex won the "fast-entry" prize of £500. She generously donated the prize back to The Blue Cross via Gift-Aid which in turn made the donation worth £640.
