In Findon, just north of Worthing, is a sanctuary which is home to about 90 animals at any one time. Situated in the garden is accommodation for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, a parrot, two Shetlands and a donkey.

Rescue Dogs
At Rescue dog we list pedigree and crossbreed dogs of every shape and size currently living in dog rescue centres across the UK and Ireland such as the RSPCA and Dogs Trust. Dogs are listed by area though many can be rehomed nationally.

Save Our Strays Rescue charity
A small local rescue based in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, and run by Margaret Young. They take in many unwanted dogs from the local dog pound and care for them until a new home can be found. All the dogs are in foster homes or boarded at private kennels.

SPANA helps poor families in rural and semi-rural communities by supplying free veterinary first aid to their working animals.

Staffycross Welfare Trust
This organisation is made up of dog lovers and rescue workers who are concerned over the welfare of the large number of Staffy crosses in rescues and pounds up and down the country.
