The Blue Cross animal adoption centre in Burford is looking for permanent homes for feline residents in its care. Charlie came to the centre after his owner became too ill to look after him. A 13-year-old domestic shorthaired cat, he is a bit nervous and needs a new home where someone can spend a lot of time with him. Charlie is a very loving cat who will show lots of affection in return for a new home. Castrol and Ducati are mother and daughter who were brought to the centre earlier this year after their owner could no longer look after them. Castrol is a very doting, 11-year-old white Persian cat and her daughter is a 10-year-old domestic long haired tabby cat. They would both like a new home together where they can snuggle up to be pampered. Helen Wright, Blue Cross centre manager at Burford said: We dont know why these cats are still looking for new homes. They have all been with us for over three months so were desperate to find owners for them. Theyre are all lovely, friendly cats with lots of love to give. The Blue Cross vaccinates and neuters and microchips all animals before they are rehomed. Animals also receive six weeks free pet insurance. The Blue Cross animal adoption centre at Burford has successfully rehomed over 280 animals so far this year. Anyone who thinks they can offer any of these cats a home should contact The Blue Cross on 01993 822483 or visit the centre at Shilton Road, Burford, OX18 4PF.
