National Pet Care roadshow comes to Torquay

20/09/2007

All About Pets, the free pet care advice service from Britain's pet charity The Blue Cross, will be visiting Torquay on Saturday 22 September to help local people offer the best care for their pets.

The charity's mobile unit will be stationed at the Pets at Home store at Bridge Retail Park on Hele Road in Torquayfrom 10.30am to 4pm.  Blue Cross staff will be on hand to give professional advice on all aspects of pet care, but not veterinary treatment.

All About Pets was set up by The Blue Cross to dispel myths about pet care and promote responsible animal ownership through a comprehensive range of leaflets on looking after cats, dogs, horses and small animals.

The All About Pets scheme was launched four years ago in response to a survey conducted by the charity that showed that most pet owners felt they needed access to independent pet care information.

The road show provides an excellent opportunity for the public to access free pet care advice via their Pets at Home store. The All About Pets extensive range of leaflets provide free, expert pet advice and support for owners to keep their animals healthy and happy. The leaflets are easy to read, illustrated, and are a trustworthy source written by experienced members of Blue Cross staff.

To download the leaflets, please visit the All About Pets website www.allaboutpets.org.uk.
