Pet Memorials

Pet memorials can be a helpful and comforting way of remembering and commemorating the life of a companion animal that has passed on. A memorial to your animal will serve as a lasting testament to the unique bond that was shared between you and your pet.

Here you can create an online pet memorial page for your sadly missed animal, where you can write about your pet, share happy memories or submit a poem describing what they meant to you. You can even include a picture of your companion as part of your pet memorial page.

Follow our simple instructions to set up your Pet Memorial (allow a few working days for your newly created memorial to appear on the website). Also, view other pet memorials, and read tributes from friends, family and other animal lovers.

Pet Bereavement Support

The Pet Bereavement Support Service is a UK organisation dedicated to providing sympathetic care and support to anyone who has lost a dearly loved companion animal. Bereavement support can help people come to terms with the sense of grief and loss that the passing of a pet brings with it.

The Pet Bereavement Support Service is staffed by trained volunteers who have experience of companion animal bereavement themselves and wish to support others through this difficult experience. You can contact them by phone or email if you would like to talk about your loss with a non-judgemental, understanding volunteer. You can find out more on our Pet Bereavement Support Service page.

Want to talk?
Sometimes it helps to share your feelings with someone who knows from personal experience how distressing the loss of a pet can be, and who will listen with compassion and without judgement.

The Pet Bereavement Support Service is a telephone helpline and email service that offers such support to bereaved pet owners, through a national network of trained volunteer befrienders.
