The brand new adoption centre in Lewknor, Oxon opened its doors to the public on 15 April 2005. Bill Heine, charity supporter and BBC Oxford presenter, cut the ribbon. The centre, which includes a cattery and onsite veterinary facilities, replaces the old centre in nearby Chalfont St Peter. Centre manager Julie Stone said: The centre is looking fantastic and will offer the highest standards to the animals in our care waiting for new homes. The cattery will open in August, so for the first few months we will be focussing on dogs looking for loving new homes... We hope to continue the success of our Chalfont centre, and are looking forward to meeting friends, old and new. Come and visit us! The centre is open to the public now. It is located on London Road, Lewknor, Oxon OX49 5RY. The opening hours are Wednesday - Monday 11am - 4pm, Bank holidays 11am 2pm. The centre will be closed all day Tuesdays.
