We are pleased to announce the winners from this year's Wag and Bone Show competition. Entrants had to guess what The Blue Cross animal hospital, Victoria was celebrating this year - and the answer was '100 years of care'. The winner received a Junk Art Dog, kindly donated by Junk Art Memorabilia. The runners all received a Blue Cross goody bag containing a T-shirt, water bottle, and dog toy. Winner Mrs L. V. Hickling, Kent Ms M. Putt, Newton Mr T Gilmartin, Reading Mrs W. MacLennan, Bramley The annual show is a celebration of all types of dogs and the focus is definitely on fun. There was a great turnout and crowds were entertained by display teams, agility events and training classes. The Blue Cross agility team (pictured left) put on a great show at the rescue dog agility demonstration. Proud owners had the chance to flaunt their pets in Pup Idol and look-a-like contests. The Blue Cross stand proved popular with both people, who were learning more about the charity, and their pets, who were enjoying a free drink of water on a hot day. |
