The Blue Cross has received £45,000 raised by the Peter O'Sullevan charitable trust, at a presentation at Newmarket racecourse on 26 May 2007. The trust raised £270,000 in total and donated an equal amount from that total to six welfare charities: The Blue Cross, Brooke Hospital for Animals, Compassion in World Farming, ILPH, Racing Welfare and The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre.

The money was raised through events including an auction at the annual Sir Peter O' Sullevan Award luncheon in London.
