Spring 2007 Paw Draw winners
Rosco picks the raffle winners, with the help of animal welfare assistant, Amelia Eyre and Blue Cross chief executive John Rutter
A Blue Cross rescue dog has sniffed out four big winners in 2007 Spring Paw Draw raffle at the animal adoption centre in Burford. Four lucky recipients were picked, with a top prize of £5,000. Rosco, an affectionate Staffordshire bull terrier cross who is looking for a new home, helped pick the winners from over 135,000 tickets. Blue Cross head of trading Jonathan Chambers said: "We have brought in around £160,000 through raffle ticket sales and donations. This is a fantastic achievement and we would like to thank all those who contributed to helping our needy animals." Rosco is an affectionate and loving dog.
