The Blue Cross has presented its first Equine Welfare Awards to acknowledge the hard work of equine students towards the welfare of horses and ponies. Rosie Mogford, Blue Cross equine welfare education officer says "There are many prizes for academic and equestrian excellence and we felt there was a place to reward those who really made a difference to the horses." Jenna Reilly (pictured left) studies at Moreton Morrell and received her award on 1 July. Jenna has demonstrated a high standard of horse care, welfare and management throughout her two year as a residential student.
