Cheeky Charlie finds a home

Cheeky Charlie is an eight-year-old cat who has been living at The Blue Cross Torbay adoption centre. Thanks to a special talent of his, Charlie has found himself a new home. The clever cat mastered the art of opening a door and helping himself to the cat food supplies at the centre. Watch him in action on the video!

Netty Ward, Blue Cross deputy manager at Torbay said: "We couldn't believe it when we saw Charlie tucking-in to biscuits because the door is kept closed and biscuits safely in a sealed tub. Not only did he manage to open the kitchen door himself, but he also worked out how to remove the lid of a plastic tub and we discovered him busy fishing out the food with his paw. It is fantastic that he has found a new home through his funny antics."

There are many other cheeky cats waiting to find a home in our adoption centres. Search our adoption pages to find the cat for you.
