Phoebe's Tea Party

The Blue Cross would like to thank everyone who gave their support for our annual Tea Party on Friday 15 May. More than 800 people registered to take part in the event.

Tracey Chittock, events officer at The Blue Cross said: “Once again, the Tea Party proved to be a great success. We are delighted at the amount of funds raised for our animals and would like to thank all who held a Tea Party or donated money towards our cause.”

A STORY OF GENEROSITY
One story that has come out of The Blue Cross Tea Party demonstrates how generous some people can be. Phoebe Beresford-Hough held a Tea Party for her birthday. Instead of accepting gifts from her friends, she asked everyone to make a donation for Blue Cross animals. In return, she offered them cakes, tea and a great disco party! All up, Phoebe managed to raise £200 for The Blue Cross.
