Biscuit has 'The Rex Factor' personality

Biscuit, an adorable bearded collie terrier cross has won ‘The Rex Factor’. Thousands of dog owners around Britain submitted pictures of their canine companions to The Chris Evans BBC radio 2 show in the hope that their dog would become the show’s mascot.

Biscuit was brought into The Blue Cross animal adoption centre in Felixstowe early last year after his owners could no longer look after him. Happily, he was soon snapped up and found a loving new home with the Mains family. Since then, the energetic little dog has come along way and is now heading into a life of fame.

Mrs Mains, Biscuit's owner says: "We thought Biscuit would have a good chance in this competition as he's such a lovely little fellow with such a big character. It's his personality which gives him 'The Rex Factor'".

This is a wonderful example of just one of the dogs who found a second chance in life thanks to The Blue Cross. Although, many of Biscuit’s buddies still need a home so that they too can have their chance to shine. Read Biscuit's story and take a look at some of his friends for adoption at The Blue Cross.
