Celebrate national pet month

Celebrate national pet month with The Blue Cross

April is National Pet Month and The Blue Cross animal adoption centre in Burford will be celebrating the joys of pet ownership. The centre staff will be sharing stories about pets who’ve been given a second chance in life through the charity.

Visit the centre to meet some of the homeless cats, dogs and small pets at who are looking for loving new homes and find out how you could give a second chance to a deserving pet. If you’re not looking to get a new pet, then learn how you can help the many hundreds of animals cared for at the centre through volunteering opportunities and fundraising events.

There will also be fun activities for children available throughout the month.

The Blue Cross animal adoption centre on Shilton Road, Burford is open between 11.00am and 4.00pm every day except Thursdays, when it is closed. For more information contact the centre on 01993 822483.
