The Blue Cross has joined forces with a college to give people the chance to learn about animal care and hear from an Olympic superstar. The College of West Anglia is holding an educational event, called Raising Aspirations, to give people a chance to learn what their future could hold. It is being led by Olympic horse rider Mary King and there will be lectures and demonstrations from both the equine disciplines and from small animal care. Our education officer Kerry Doyle will be running a stand at the event, which is at the colleges Cambridge campus, in Landbeach Road, Milton. She will also be giving a presentation on The Blue Cross and the work we do, especially equine rehab. The event is on Wednesday, July 21 from 10am until 4pm. It is open to all and is free of charge but you must register online if you want to attend. |
