Cat found in bin

A cat has been rescued after she was dumped in a bin.

Claudette was discovered by a passerby and handed to The Blue Cross.

She was in a box in a large bin on a London street and could have been taken away by refuge collectors had she not been found.

Named Claudette by staff, she is now being treated at one of our animal hospitals.

Once again we urge people not to dump their pets but to contact us to make sure we can take them in safely.

We will never judge someone for making a responsible decision for their animal.
