Veterinary nurses from The Blue Cross will be out in Grimsby on Sunday to help pet owners with their problems. Our nurses will be at Peoples Park, in Welholme Road, from 10am until 4pm to give advice on any issue from dieting dilemmas to fixing fleas. Were holding the event to celebrate national veterinary nurse week and well also be offering on the spot microchipping for dogs for just £10. Blue Cross vet nurse Samantha Cass says: We are looking forward to meeting lots of pet owners on Sunday. We are also happy to chat to anyone who might be thinking of training as a vet nurse and explain the sort of work we do at the animal hospital in Grimsby. I know Im biased but I reckon it must be the best job in the world! Any money raised on the day will go towards helping sick and injured pets at the local animal hospital, which relies on donations to continue its work. For more information contact the Grimsby animal hospital. If you cant make the event but youd like to help needy pets, you can donate online. |
