Forget dancing students and horses have been strutting their stuff in a Strictly Come Dressage competition. Second year horse management students at Hartpury College in Gloucester held the event to raise money for The Blue Cross. As part of their event management module they had to plan and run an event for other students and collect donations. They designed posters to promote the event and invited equine students to take part in the competition, raising £50. To thank the team for their hard work we took them on a tour of our equine and small animal adoption centres in Burford, Oxfordshire. Education officer Kerry Doyle says: It was great to show the students around and they were really interested in the work we do at The Blue Cross. Wed like to thank them for thinking of us when organizing their event. |
