Live music at The Blue Cross charity shop in Worcester

A slice of summer festival fever is coming to The Blue Cross charity shop in Worcester as an up and coming band take to the stage (well, a window).

The shop will be music to your ears when two members of up and coming folk rock/alternative band Wave Goodbye Sunset perform.

Greg Clarke and Joe Sullivan will be performing some of their latest material in the window of the shop, in Mealcheapen Street.

Visitors can also treat themselves to tea and delicious homemade cakes at the fundraising event, which is on Tuesday 15 July from 11am until 3pm.

The performance area has been decked out bar-style for the event, with some fantastic vintage furniture which will later be on sale in the shop.

Shop manager Georgina Clarke says: “There’s going to be great music and a great atmosphere, so we want to encourage as many people as possible to come along and enjoy the festival vibe in the sunshine.”

For more information call the shop on 01905 330117.
