Our horses have been getting some extra-special help in finding a new home from a host of celebrities. Sky1s new show Pet Nation will feature an equine rehoming appeal for The Blue Cross on Friday. Presented by actress Liza Tarbuck and musician Huey Morgan, the show will feature an appeal to find new homes for two ponies in our care. Deputy centre manager of our Burford equine centre Kate Gloyn was interviewed for the programme alongside actor Neil Morrissey and his dog to explain the work we do. Senior riding groom Gemma Taylor will explain our process of matching horses with new owners and a family who are in the process of rehoming a pony from us will also be interviewed. Please note that since filming Pet Nation the family have made the difficult decision not to take Jasper home as their existing Blue Cross pony, Syrup, is doing so well. If you are interested in rehoming Jasper, the featured pony in tonight's program, please contact The Blue Cross equine centre in Burford on 01993 822454. Furthermore, if youd like to find out about rehoming a horse or pony from The Blue Cross, visit our equine pages. |
