All I need is love

When Flynn arrived at The Blue Cross he was in a bit of a sorry state.

The six-year-old lurcher was covered in scars and wounds all over his face and body.

He was also very thin, had infected skin lesions and his tail was sore and bleeding.

We worked hard to build up Flynn’s weight and he received all the veterinary care he needed. That, combined with lots of TLC, helped to get him back on the right track.

Now all we need is someone to give Flynn the loving home he deserves. He is currently being cared for at our Tiverton adoption centre in Devon.

Animal welfare assistant Jackie Effer says: “He is a fantastic dog with a gentle nature – typical of his breed type.

“Despite his past, he is a cheerful and affectionate chap who loves everybody he meets and is at his most happiest when around people, getting fuss, attention and playing games.

“His favourite toy is a tennis ball and he will play fetch all day long.”
