You talkin' to me?

Meet The Fonz. He’s been ruling the roost in his hood for quite some time and he’s got the scars to show it.

Named after the infamous gangster Alphonse Capone, this wily chap has been around the block.

But now the seven-year-old is ready to bow out of life in the fast lane and is looking for the special home he deserves.

The Fonz has become a firm favourite among Blue Cross staff for his laid back attitude and friendly personality.

He has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is spread between cats, so he must be rehomed as an indoor cat only.

The disease doesn’t affect people or other animals and The Fonz is fit and healthy at the moment so he doesn’t need any medication.

FIV cats often live for many years, sometimes as long as non FIV cats but if he did become ill, we’d be happy to treat him at one of our hospitals.

We think he’ll adapt very well to life indoors but would like to find him a home where there’s people around to keep him occupied and he could go to a home with older children.

The Fonz is currently being fostered in London. If you’re interested in offering him a home, please call us on 020 7932 2370.

PLEASE NOTE:  To prevent the spread of this disease, it is essential that The Fonz is rehomed as an indoor cat and does not go outside, even when supervised. He must not have contact with other cats and so needs to be the only cat in the house. FIV cannot be spread to other species and is only dangerous for cats.
