We love Lucy!

Lucy_200

A Blue Cross cat who was returned to us after a decade has been rehomed.

Lucy was adopted from our Southampton centre 10 years ago.

Unfortunately her owners were no longer able to look after her and so she came back to the centre earlier this year.

At the age of 17, staff were worried that they may not be able to find Lucy a loving home and everyone was keeping their fingers crossed.

But after getting a clean bill of health Lucy went up for rehoming and was adopted very quickly.

She is now settling in to her new home.

Centre manager Kellie Brooks says: “The Blue Cross has been there for Lucy twice in her life when she really needed us and we are so glad that we were able to find a new, loving home for this very special cat.”
