A Greater Manchester couple have told how their wedding ceremony will feature a special canine guest.

Craig Wilson and Sian Davies, from Mossley, have decided to include pet dog Cracker in their wedding day plans.

The Staffordshire bull terrier will accompany his owner Mr Wilson as he makes his wedding vows.

To make the dog feel as involved as possible in the day he has been given special clothing to wear which features tails and a tie.

Mr Wilson reported that he is delighted that his pet is joining in with the wedding ceremony.

"I've had Cracker since he was a pup and we just couldn't leave him out. Sian and I have been courting for four years now and Cracker is very much part of our lives," he told the Tameside Advertiser.

"He goes everywhere with us so it's right he should be along on the day to see us marry."

Newly-weds from Dorset recently revealed how one of their dogs was given the best-man role in their ceremony while two others served as bridesmaids.
