Why not collect them in one of our home collecting boxes? The box can be used to encourage children to save their sweetie money, or if the office joker can't control his corny jokes you could fine him 50p each time. However you collect the money, money received will go towards helping the animals in our care. If you would like to request a box, email events@bluecross.org.uk or call Tracey on 01993 825567. Send us your shares! Small quantities of shares can cost more to sell than they are actually worth, and keeping virtually worthless shares can cause tax headaches as all dividends, no matter how small, must be declared. The Blue Cross works with ShareGift, which collects unwanted shares into saleable amounts and then gives the proceeds to a variety of charities, including us. The Blue Cross is delighted to have received more than £66,000 during the last nine years as a result of our relationship with ShareGift. There is no charge when you donate shares through ShareGift in fact you could benefit from income tax relief. Call us on 01993 825511 to find out more. Do you live in America?
