Working with animals is a rewarding career that can give a tremendous sense of achievement and satisfaction. However, it is also extremely hard work, can be upsetting and is physically as well as mentally demanding. You will need to carefully consider whether this type of work is really for you. If you do decide to apply for a post with The Blue Cross, we look forward to hearing from you. Check out our latest vacancies, and good luck! The Blue Cross currently employs a total of 420 staff at 15 different locations. The sites are divided into four areas of activity, each accessible from the links to the left: Work experience Our centres and animal hospitals may take young people on work experience, but places are limited. Applications for placements should be made in writing direct to the relevant adoption centre or animal hospital where you would like to gain experience. For volunteering opportunities, please refer to the support our work section. Important notice We are aware that online personal identification scams are currently taking place. To combat this, we wish to confirm that you will not be asked by email to send identification documents, such as your passport, to The Blue Cross, before you begin working with the organisation. |
