Coming soon – your chance to step into celebrity shoes!

Ever wanted to step into the shoes of your favourite celebrity?

Soon you will have the chance to do just that, and raise vital funds for sick, injured and homeless pets at the same time.

Singing sensation Ed Sheeran, comedian and The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice host Jo Brand, and Olympic cycling champ Victoria Pendleton are just some of the celebs who have donated their autographed shoes to the Blue Cross Steps for Pets fundraising auction.

The shoes, slippers and trainers of the stars will be auctioned from 12 October to raise money needed to help the thousands of unwanted and abandoned, ill and injured pets we care for at our hospitals and rehoming centres every year.

The celebrities are also urging the public to take part in the Blue Cross Steps for Pets challenge, to help to reach a whopping total of ten million steps and committing to raise money for pets in need.

Actress Carley Stenson, currently starring in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels in London’s West End, said: “As a dog owner myself, it’s heartbreaking to know that there are so many pets out there that don’t have a loving home.

"That’s why I’m delighted to support Blue Cross, and I hope pet lovers across the UK will get involved and take Steps for Pets to help raise funds – Britain’s pets need your support!”

Other celeb shoes up for grabs include paw print-themed trainers decorated by dog-loving popstar Jessie Ware and pimped up plimsolls from campaigner and journalist Jemima Goldsmith.

The auction will take place from 12 to 18 October, so keep an eye on our website and make sure you don’t miss out on your chance to bid on your favourite celebrity footwear.
