An update on our rehoming services

We’re sorry but with the exception of our horses, we can’t accept further rehoming applications at this time.

Following the government’s stay at home advice, we’re focusing all our efforts on the welfare of the pets in our care at our centres and through our foster carers.

We will not be finding small pets, cats or dogs new homes for three weeks while these measures are in place. If you are looking for a horse to rehome, visit our Give a Horse a Home page. Our rehoming coordinators are ready and waiting to match you to our many horses waiting for homes. If you are in need of some guidance or support or are needing to give up your horse please contact our Help my Horse email address. We won’t be running our Home Direct scheme, where we match a pet and rehome directly from owner to new owner.

We can’t accept new pets other than pets admitted through our hospitals and Pets into Care. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate these.

If you would like to help the pets that have to remain with us longer, you can still sponsor a pet.

Once we are no longer in this lockdown situation and we get to a manageable number of pets in our care we will re-open admissions using our onsite services, partner organisations, foster carers and home to home services.

It is critical that we keep our people safe as well as the pets in our care.

Thank you very much for your continued understanding and support.
