Memories of Pippin
She enjoyed the good life - curling up under the duvet with her head on my pillow, the best spot on the sofa, the sunny spot in the garden. But she could chase a squirrel and get muddy as well. We called her a 'food assistance dog' as she was always ready to help if you couldn't finish. She taught many a veterinary nursing student how to do bandaging and x-ray positioning, as well as physiotherapy (she did love her neck rubs). She gave comfort at the hospice. Ok, she wasn't so keen on other dogs, but that is because they were jealous. She was the best dog in the world. She was my princess.
